Durango is a charming, historic “Old West” town located in the southwest corner of Colorado and nestled in the San Juan Mountains with the Animas River running through it. Durango is a vacation destination for all ages and all seasons. Summer brings endless hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and river rafting opportunities, as well as festivals including Music in the Mountains, Durango Independent Film Festival and countless other family festivals. The Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is one of the nation’s most popular tourist attractions and it also has special themed trips throughout the year.
Fall travelers enjoy perfect weather and picturesque scenery for continued outdoor pursuits and excellent photographic opportunities. The fall colors are a kaleidoscopic feast for the eyes and one of the most popular times to visit the area.

Cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice-climbing and backcountry skiing are also major recreational pursuits in the area. The more adventurous can explore North America’s only all-extreme ski area in nearby Silverton and Telluride, Wolf Creek and Taos are all a short distance away.
Early spring has some of our favorite snow conditions with endless sunny warm days, and late spring emerges with beautiful wildflowers for all outdoor enthusiasts and photographers.

Just take the elevator to the ground floor and you are steps away from the Six Pack lift. Our 2 bedroom/2 bath condo (1,046 sq ft) is located on the 6th floor of the Eolus building which is located in the heart of the main plaza - making your vacation as convenient as possible.
The kitchen is fully equipped with new counter tops and is complete with cooking utensils etc. This unit comes with an underground parking space and a brand new washer/dryer (June 2010). The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed while the 2nd bedroom contains two sets of bunk beds. Additionally, a queen sized pull out sofa bed is located in the main living space which allows the condo to sleep 8 comfortably.
