Welcome to The Modern Cottage, just a stone's throw from Downtown Bend, the Old Mill District and the Box Factory. This now modern bungalow, was taken down to the studs and completely remodeled! The fully equipped chef's kitchen has stunning poured-in-place concrete counter tops.

The large yard is fully fenced for your kids to run and play and our furry guests to romp around. The beautiful patio is perfect for entertaining under the stars. End the evening with s'mores at the the bonfire pit or cruise down on, one of the 4 complimentary bikes, to Goody's Downtown for a special treat! There is SO much to like about this updated, historic home.

The home is dog friendly (2 dog max) and the pet fee is $40/day (Max $250)

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Great House in Awesome Location

The house is in a perfect location and a nice walk to many restaurants, stores and downtown Bend. The house was efficient with space and easily fit a family of three and a dog. The property management company was great and left a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and a turkey pan. When visiting Bend again this would be our first place to look.

Great location and a great house

What a great place! It was clean and comfortable and a great base for my Bend business trip. I got in late, but the next morning, I snuck out the side gate and went for a great run down around Drake Park and the surrounding neighborhood. A quick soak in the hot tub, which had been warmed up for me prior to arrival, made for just about the best way to start my day imaginable. It's super convenient I was able to walk to Downtown for some great food and just a few minutes drive to all the things Bend has to offer.

While I was here on business this time, I can't wait to come back with the fam next time. I'll be staying here again.

I'm sure the host would have been responsive, had I needed anything, but it was perfect.

Cute Bungalow, great location.

Perfect location to explore Bend. Walk to downtown one way and the Old Mill the other. Classic bungalow and very responsive owner & manager.

Great location!

We had a wonderful long weekend in Bend. The cottage is in a great location; walking distance from downtown, a nice grocery store and the mill district. Also super easy to get to Mt. Bachelor for a day of skiing. The house has all you need for a comfortable stay. We would love to come back.

Conveniently located gem in Bend.

Fantastic property with clean spaces and modern touches that really fit the needs of everyone in our group. The outdoor space was wonderful and the home had a great sound system for us to use. The beds were comfortable and everything was perfectly clean. Will stay here again if I come back to Bend!

Great house and location!

We booked this house because it was dog friendly and close to family. The house house was in a great location for everything that we wanted to do. The house is very well put together, the finishes are amazing. It’s nice to have a safe place to let your dogs out to play. The shed outback was also a nice place for us to store our snowboarding gear. We would definitely rent this house again.
